Director of Product Marketing
Job Description: We are seeking a highly-motivated, entrepreneurial individual to join our commercial team to champion the development and implementation of marketing and brand strategies for our cutting edge Sweatronics® platform. The successful candidate will have a track record of successfully launching new products and technology into markets through B2B channels with an emphasis in upstream marketing.
Position: Full-time. Reports to SVP of Commercialization
Location: Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
Develop and implement upstream product marketing strategies and go-to-market plans.
Develop and implement the brand and communication strategies that successfully launch the product to market.
Determine product pricing strategy utilizing market research data; production and sales costs; anticipated volume; market value, etc.
Define and develop marketing materials and programs.
Partner with Business Development to meet commercial objectives providing appropriate supporting tools and materials.
Aggressively identify opportunities for improvement and incorporate new product features on an on-going basis. Define market opportunities and develop product briefs.
Perform best practice research and benchmarking. Conduct competitive trend analysis and develop a strong understanding of stakeholders interests to drive development decisions.
Work with partners, customers and internal partners to define and refine product requirements.
Provide supporting analysis of potential partner relationships for products.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in one of the following: Marketing, Physiology, Biology, Nursing (or pre-med) or similar; MBA a plus.
Four years of success launching new products or devices into varying industries such as: industrial, military, medical and/or athletics markets. Preferably in small to mid size organizations.
Digital and B2B marketing experience is required..
Biotech, biomedical, and/or medtech experience is helpful but not required.
Confident, driven and dynamic leader.
Strong interpersonal skills including a proven track record of building and maintaining effective working relationships with team and industry partners.
An entrepreneurial spirit; enthusiasm and vision about converting cutting edge science into commercial applications.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
