Sales Market Leader

The Market Leader is responsible for new business development, maximizing client relationships, and accountability for the sales performance of our revolutionary wearable sweat sensing systems. They are responsible for collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to meet or exceed sales targets. They manage the sales process for successful launch of Eccrine Systems products. Through market analysis, they develop the sales strategy for a defined product, identifying growth opportunities, and determining business objectives. Market Leaders are expected to be the “closer” that successfully secures new business relationships, clearly understanding the competitive landscape, the services needed, and how the multi-disciplinary team can evolve to fully meet the needs of end customers.
Position: Full-time or Contractor. Reports to SVP of Commercialization.
Location: Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
Overall responsibility for selling our cutting edge sweat sensing platform to a variety of (enterprise or B2B) industries and audiences; including but not limited to: military, medical, industrial, sports and corporate safety. Identifying potential customers, delivering persuasive demonstrations and closing sales.
Lead the sales presentations and process.
Negotiates pricing and contractual agreements to close the sale.
The Sales Leader will establish and build client relationships that increase account penetration and client satisfaction.
Bring customer-focused solutions that have strong value propositions, meet demonstrated market needs, and provide unique competitive advantages.
Anticipate discipline and industry trends, with a focus on digital solutions grounded in a market knowledge gained through data-driven market research.
Fully understand and track all product activity that affects assigned portfolio, including new product launches/enhancements and any competitor movement. Develop a keen understanding of the products functionality; develop an ability to align the customer needs with product offerings.
Provide thoughtful insight to leadership on pricing, business model strategies, and setting business goals.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of field sales experience with focus on large strategic accounts including applications and sales experience.
Current and/or prior contacts with leaders in the military, medical, industrial, sports, and or safety industries that would benefit from Eccrine Systems product offerings. Ability to convert contacts to clients.
Natural born hunter, with excellent prospecting and qualification skills to identify new opportunities
Ability to sell directly to end customers, while also working with industry channel partners to close deals
Highly organized and deadline orientated, with experience of producing regular sales forecast reports and activity updates

Quick on your feet, takes initiative and can anticipate client needs
