Supply Chain Analyst

Job Description:  We are seeking a highly-motivated Supply Chain Analyst who will provide knowledge, analytical skills and experience in the areas of S&OP, capacity management, inventory management, and production planning in a dynamic start-up environment.

Position:  Full-time.  Reports to Director of Manufacturing and Supply Chain.

Location:  Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Duties Include: 

  • Establish and maintain relationships within supplier network with focus on creating long-term partnering arrangements
  • Negotiate terms with vendors to continuously improve cost, lead time, quality
  • Manage supplier agreements, supplier assessments and overall supplier vetting process
  • Lead initiative to implement MRP/ERP system across the organization, with focus on inventory management and optimization
  • Perform configuration management while ensuring accurate setup of parts and products
  • Establish and support the S&OP and capacity planning processes
  • Report monthly inventory results to identify risks and preventive/corrective actions
  • Assist in the development of reporting tools to monitor capacity of critical manufacturing equipment and tooling
  • Analyze, research, test and troubleshoot data as necessary to optimize supply chain in terms of cost of goods sold, lead times, deliveries, quality, etc.
  • Develop inventory management processes and procedures
  • Manage RFQ/buying process with vendor network; track orders through delivery and on-boarding within MRP/ERP system
  • Provide support to contract manufacturers and ensure compliance to company standards
  • Ensure maintenance, consistency and accuracy of supply chain data
  • Perform supply chain analytics including material planning, advanced planning and capacity analysis
  • Develop inventory management work instructions for production/shipping departments
  • Provide support with process improvement efforts throughout the organization
  • Participate in projects with the Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations, Finance and IT teams to implement MRP/ERP best practices
  • Assist with any MRP/ERP software implementation projects as needed

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Supply chain, production planning and/or MRP/ERP analyst experience
  • Knowledge of S&OP process and capacity planning
  • Inventory planning experience
  • Advanced Sweat Sensors for Medicine, Industry and Sport
  • Extensive experience with ERP/MRP systems
  • Solid understanding of inventory accounting methods and best practices
  • Strong analytical skills, math aptitude and attention to detail
  • Strong communications and organizational skills
  • Project management skills, training and experience is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to exhibit a positive, energetic approach to teamwork
  • Demonstrated ability to advocate for product excellence and quality
  • Knowledge and experience with implementing and maintaining certification of FDA and international medical device regulations/standards/directives (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, 21CFR820, 93/42/CE, cGMPs) a plus
